Undying Love

Hey Dusk Fans! It's Julie, here with a question: Love. Does it ever die?

Not if you are immortal. I think that's one of the tensions which draws fans to the vampire mythology. It may (or may not) be a trope more biased towards women, but really....the sexy undead one loves you.

For. Ev. Er.

And that can be a very sexy idea for a lot of folks out there. Plus the eternal youth thing is cool.

Seems like I've always been drawn to the world of vamps. From the original Dracula to terrible TV movies to Buffy and onwards towards Laurell K. Hamilton, there are vamps for every taste. And Twilight, with Edward and Bella (and Jacob, let's not forget as werewolves are a whole other story) is no exception.

I will say though, that I'm especially drawn to characters like Spike from Buffy and James from Twilight. I totally dig the bad-ass vamps who dress to the nine's and kill with style. Maybe that's another reason so many of us love vampire stories-after spending most of the day being good, we get to be really bad, even if for a little while.

This show, Dusk, is going to be amazing-funny, sexy, violent, campy, wild, smart and fierce.

You are gonna love it. Forever.
